Residential Child Care Worker
Location: D&G and Central Belt of Scotland

Salary: Up to £22,900
Responsible for: Proactively ensuring the therapeutic care of the children and young people within our care. This will be achieved by working in a positive, respectful, safe and empowering way with all young people in order to promote good relationships and encourage their achievements. You will be expected to participate actively in many facets of the young peoples lives from their care plans to social, recreational and educational activities. The role does involve shift work.
Qualities: A good communicator and relationship builder with a high level of emotional awareness, able to use initiative and act in a confident and resourceful way. Works well in a team.
Qualifications: We will consider candidates that have 'on the job' experience and are willing to study for relevant social work / care qualifications but it is desirable if you already have a relevant qualification such as SVQ3, HNC, DipSW.
Type of Posts: Full Time, Part Time, Fixed Term Contracts and Sessional positions available.
Following the closing date we will accept applications on an ad-hoc basis for Full Time, Part Time, Fixed Term Contracts and Sessional positions in both D&G Region and Central Belt.
