Information for Local Authorities

Care Visions is an established, high quality provider of residential child care.  All of our placements provide focused intervention for children and young people.  We will work with families to support contact and, where appropriate, work with the local authorities to help  plan return to families.  We understand what local authorities need and deliver this via our flexible and responsive services such as:

• Crisis placements: We offer placements to children and young people in crisis, including same day placements

• Short term placements: For children and young people who need a residential child care placement but can be supported to move on to other respources or return to their families

• Long term placements: For children and young people who need long term placements in residential child care due to the level and complexity of their needs

• Residential respite placements: For children and young people who can benefit from crisis or planned respite

• Throughcare and aftercare support: For young people who have been in our residential services but are moving on to independent living arrangements

• Support into mainstream services: Care Visions support children back into mainstream services by providing an extended range of services from classroom assistance, to foster parent selection and training, we help children succeed in community life

• Fostering Services: Our Fostering serices provides a parent search, selection and training service
