House Manager: on a Full Time basis located in the Montrose Area
Salary Scale: £21,508 to £34,797
Overall management of a staff team and premises to provide childcare of the highest standard laid down by National Standards and higher as specified by the Company.
We require enthusiastic and experienced professionals to assist us in the development of our new and existing services. You will be emotionally resilient and able to demonstrate innovative practice as well as having a genuine commitment to meeting the needs of the children and young people we look after.
Knowledge of human growth and development and the affects of trauma, abuse and deprivation is essential; as is knowledge of a wide range of health, education, social work and voluntary services for children and young people and the ability to use them appropriately.
A relevant qualification in social work/social care e.g SVQ 4, HNC, DipSW is essential and a management qualification desirable.
Supervisory skills and experience are essential along with an understanding of team development and the ability to function as a team leader.
Driving will form a substantial part of this role therefore a full driving licence is essential. Access to a vehicle will be necessary for commuting due to the rural location of many of our services.
