CareVision’s is committed to establishing a learning culture within the organisation and to encouraging and supporting all of its’ employees in realising their potential and developing their skills and knowledge.
All new staff participate in a 10 day induction training course prior to commencing their duties within one of our services. This provides a basic introduction to all aspects of our approach to working with young people and forms the basis of an ongoing induction programme which continues once they join one of our teams.
All staff also commence their employment with us on a six month probationary period. At the end of this period their first annual appraisal will be carried out with a view to developing their individual development plan for the coming 12 months. This will usually include various ‘in house’ training opportunities, refresher training and attendance of external short courses.
