CareVisions’ greatest priority is in ensuring that the children and young people placed with us are cared for to the highest possible standard and that they are protected from harm. Careful selection and recruitment of our staff is therefore of paramount importance.
All applicants are required to complete a comprehensive application form which includes a personal statement within which they are invited to reflect on their personal histories and some of the experiences which have shaped them.
Short-listed candidates will then be invited to attend a selection process which varies slightly, depending upon the post, but will normally include group and written exercises and a panel interview during which they are expected to engage in thoughtful discussion about their own experiences of childhood and significant personal relationships.
All posts will also be subject to two satisfactory references and an Enhanced Disclosure from Disclosure Scotland.
