Our services

From our base in Scotland, we deliver services across the UK and internationally. Since 1998, we have grown several groups of services to address care needs in society. Firstly, we are an integrated provider of Children’s Services in Scotland – delivering Residential Children’s Care, Foster Care and Family Work services. Secondly, we recruit across the UK & internationally in social care interim management and social work/medical staffing. Finally, we offer new services in young people & adult personalisation in North East England and mutually owned Social Work Practices.

We welcome a policy focus on evidence, early intervention, and for better transitions and placements in work with children. Taking childrens’ issues as an example, our board, expert panels, advisors and staff bring passion and a deep professional knowledge base to our work with children and young people. Within this arena, our evidence base centres on the Sanctuary framework. Sanctuary is a US accredited medical model of trauma that has significantly aided our activities.

We also support the personalisation and greater integration of health and social care. We help families and people understand their choices and meet their needs in their own homes, with a mixed team of specialists and generalists.

Finally, we welcome a re-birth of mutualisation, and we offer routes for Social Workers to join colleagues and work in a different way. We understand that government and family budgets are challenged, and we are committed to innovate to find ways to deliver better outcomes at better prices.
